THIS. SO MUCH. :’)
#she has almost perfectly adapted the role of the loyal and ‘stupid’ betrothal of the king #a role she long ago thought incapable of doing because of the hatred for the king #hatred that still exist wholly and is just as strong and alive as it was when he showed her her father’s head #but she has and is learning how to handle joffrey#she catches him off guard (‘will you slay him yourself?’) and he blatantly insults her (‘stupid girl’) #but she practically takes it all in a stride; portraying herself as if she IS stupid #when in fact #sansa stark is very smart #and capable #this is the same girl who we saw at the beginning of the season who was learning how to survive when surrounded by lions #the same girl who yelled ‘you can’t!’ in a moment of weakness that could have potentially gotten her in much trouble #and now she has learned what to do for the sake of survival #she puts on the mask effortlessly #and at the end of the episode she drops the doll #showing how far she’s come #because she’s not a girl anymore #sansa stark is coming for you
